Biancone Elite Plus is one of four selections sorted by veining from the Volakas block of our quarry in Drama: a fine-grained, compact, dolomitic marble. Elite’s plain ground continues here, and over it a few long grey veins cross the slab, each edged with a thin line of gold. The ground is pearl-white; the wide fields between the veins are almost plain, with hair-thin grey lines and sparse flecks here and there.

A single long vein gives a large surface a line of movement: slabs sequenced along it carry the vein from one to the next, and a book-matched pair turns it into a mirrored arch. All six finishes can be applied; tiles come in standard sizes at 1 and 2 cm, and slabs and cut-to-size pieces are cut to the dimensions requested. The laboratory values were measured on Volakas specimens.
