Biancone Elite is one of four selections sorted by veining from the Volakas block of our quarry in Drama: a fine-grained, compact, dolomitic marble. It is the plainest of the four: the pearl-white ground runs almost unbroken; the grey veins are hair-thin and faint, and apart from sparse grey flecks and the odd fine gold line nothing divides the surface.

That plainness shows on large surfaces: laid side by side, big tiles and slabs break only at the joints, and the stone sits easily with the veined selections of the same block. All six finishes can be applied; tiles come in standard sizes at 1 and 2 cm, and slabs and cut-to-size pieces are cut to the dimensions requested. The laboratory values were measured on Volakas specimens.
